CharIN and AEDIVE Perú join forces to drive electric mobility and charging infrastructure in Peru.

Leading global EV charging organization CharIN e.V. and AEDIVE Peru, a key player in promoting sustainable mobility in Peru, unite to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the region.

AEDIVE Peru, the Association of entrepreneurs for the development and promotion of the electric vehicle in Peru, is dedicated to advancing sustainable mobility with clean energy and contributing to the development of smart cities.

CharIN, with over 320 members representing the entire EV charging value chain, is dedicated to the implementation of the Combined Charging System (CCS) and the Megawatt Charging System (MCS). The association's vision is to establish CCS and MCS as the global standard for charging all types of electric vehicles, ensuring reliability and user satisfaction.

This partnership between CharIN and AEDIVE Peru is strategically designed to foster collaboration in critical areas of electric mobility and charging infrastructure advancement. Together, we aim to facilitate knowledge exchange, particularly emphasizing the functionalities and benefits of the Combined Charging System (CCS) and the Megawatt Charging System (MCS). We will jointly provide essential guidance for the successful deployment of e-Mobility in Peru while supporting educational sessions to enhance stakeholders' understanding of the evolving landscape. Furthermore, this collaboration extends to the promotion of ISO 15118 and MCS to e-fleets and e-truck companies, along with shared events, charging demonstrations, and cross-alliance networking. Ultimately, we will work toward the regional standardization of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, enabling the sharing of market studies and up-to-date statistics to support the growth of the local charging infrastructure market.

“We are excited about this partnership with AEDIVE Peru, as it reflects our commitment to expanding the reach of reliable charging infrastructure and electric mobility solutions. Collaborating with AEDIVE Peru allows us to combine our global expertise with their local insights to accelerate the electrification of transportation in Peru.
CharIN Chairman Claas Bracklo

AEDIVE Peru’s President, Mr. Adolfo Rojas, added:

“We are convinced of the importance of this strategic alliance with CHARIN because there are more and more electric vehicles (mainly buses and trucks) that require greater requirements for their recharging. With the best understanding of fast, super and ultra-fast charging standards, the minimum conditions of safety, quality and sufficiency of this supply will be achieved with a view to minimizing charging times”.
