
Key messages include high levels of ambition and stimulation for EV infrastructure, sufficient grid access and capacity, as well as technology neutrality (also regarding payment systems). Negotiations on AFIR amongst the three key EU law-makers are taking place at an intense level whereby the ambition of the current Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU is to finalise the law under its tenure.
CharIN with its partner organisations continue to reach-out to the law-makers addressing the need to place the driver at the centre of the relevant discussions as their confidence in choice and access will determine the roll-out of e-mobility across the EU.
