Welcome Elyse Martinez as local representative of CharIN in the Philippines

Since 2023, the electric vehicle market in the Philippines is slowly growing. Although not as fast as other countries and quite late in the game, the industry’s growth can be felt in the streets, where we can find more electric vehicles, charging stations, and dealerships here and there. With the help of incentives and the standards established by the Philippine government, electric vehicles have truly become an option for consumers.

Elyse Martinez is the Local Representative of CharIN in the Philippines. Her main role is to know the latest innovations, principles, and developments of the electric vehicle market in the Philippines. She also links CharIN to the government sector that develops and implements the standards of the electric vehicle market.

She is also the Operations Manager of United Sustainment Solutions Corporation. USSC is a diversified company focused on developing, integrating, and implementing customized sustainment and support solutions.

She was previously a sales and marketing officer with Supply Oilfield Service Inc., now known as Newrest SOS, a logistics and support services company engaged in onshore and offshore oil and gas activities. She worked on various drilling operations for Vantage Drilling, Nido Petroleum, BHP Billiton, and Exxon Mobil. Her responsibilities ranged from the procurement process of drilling and seismic study equipment, crew change logistics, setting up remote site offices, husbanding services, port-related transactions, and processing of government permits and licenses.
