Verge Motorcycles becomes a Startup Member of CharIN

Verge Motorcycles is a manufacturer of advanced electric motorcycles propelled by our unique hubless in-wheel motor. Our design approach integrates cutting-edge technology with futuristic aesthetics to reimagine what a motorcycle can be. With operations across Europe and North America, we are focused on pushing the boundaries of performance, design, and rider experience in electric mobility.

We are joining CharIN to improve charging interoperability between our motorcycles and the public charging infrastructure in our key markets: Europe and North America. As our product evolves, seamless charging becomes an essential part of the overall user experience. By joining CharIN, we aim to stay ahead of the curve by contributing to and learning from discussions around charging standards. Access to CharIN’s Testivals and technical working groups will also help us reduce development time and improve our end-to-end user experience.

Verge Motorcycles will contribute by actively participating in forums and working groups that define and refine charging standards, including ISO15118, Plug & Charge, and bi-directional power transfer. We bring a two-wheeler perspective to the table - an increasingly relevant part of the electric mobility ecosystem - and will share our user experience insights and technical feedback to help the industry move toward a unified, future-ready charging standard.

Our goal is to ensure that EV riders enjoy a reliable, smooth, and intelligent charging experience, regardless of platform or location.
