UAEV becomes a Core Member of CharIN

UAE’s national charge point operator joins CharIN as a Core Member, strengthening interoperability standards for the UAE’s electric mobility sector.

Emirates Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Company (UAEV), the UAE’s national charge point operator, has joined the Charging Interface Initiative e.V. (CharIN) as a Core Member, strengthening its commitment to advancing interoperable EV charging technologies and supporting the continued growth of electric mobility across the UAE.

As a Core Member, UAEV will contribute the operator’s perspective to CharIN’s technical community, helping shape the global standards that allow vehicles, chargers and systems to work seamlessly together.

UAEV is the UAE’s national charge point operator, mandated to roll out and manage EV charging infrastructure across the Emirates and to connect the national network to the grid, in partnership with the private sector.

Membership in CharIN gives UAEV a direct seat within the international community shaping the future of EV charging technology – and a platform to bring that expertise closer to home, supporting the UAE’s electric mobility sector as it scales.

“We look forward to this new chapter of collaboration with CharIN, and to bringing global standards expertise closer to home.”
