Smart Grid Observer and CharIN launch strategic collaboration to advance Vehicle-to-Grid interoperability

The collaboration will include technical planning, participant outreach, knowledge sharing, and coordinated promotion of future interoperability events. While the V2G Forum will focus on demonstrations, education, and end-to-end V2G validation, CharIN will continue leading pre-conformance testing, conformance testing, and certification activities through its established Quality Assurance Program.

Under a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding, the organizations will work together to support the Fall 2026 V2G Forum Standards Demonstration and End-to-End Testbed while establishing a framework for continued collaboration on future V2G Forum events, CharIN Testivals, and technical initiatives.
