Record turnout at ACT Expo signals unprecedented e-mobility industry growth

Last month’s Advanced Clean Tech (ACT) Expo was a resounding success! A record-breaking 5,000+ industry professionals attended the event, held at the Long Beach Convention Center from August 30 to September 2nd. This incredible turnout is undeniable proof that the e-mobility industry is experiencing unprecedented, exponential growth.

The ACT Expo had six key themes: Urban Mobility, Goods Movement, Connected Fleet, Gaseous Fuels, Commercial EVs, and Vehicle Efficiency. The diverse content appealed to a variety of industries – not just the expected Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) providers, but consumer fleet companies and even ancillary technology providers.

Masked industry professionals gathered in a massive expo hall packed with the most advanced clean commercial vehicle technology in the world to discuss the biggest trends, challenges, and opportunities for the industry.

One of the key themes of the conference was charging infrastructure – with panelists emphasizing the critical importance of interoperability in enabling the e-mobility industry to scale. The Combned Charging Station (CCS) and Megawatt Charging System (MCS) were therefore an integral part of the conversation.
