NexBlue becomes a Core Member of CharIN

NexBlue joins CharIN to contribute to open standards, interoperability and the continued development of smart EV charging.

For NexBlue, the membership reflects a clear priority: taking an active part in the industry work that helps charging systems function reliably across different vehicles, platforms and markets.

NexBlue develops smart AC charging products and software for homes, apartment buildings, commercial sites and partner networks. Its products are designed with support for open protocols and future charging communication, including OCPP and ISO 15118 hardware and software readiness.

By joining CharIN, NexBlue will contribute practical experience from AC charging, installation environments, energy management and interoperability testing.

“Interoperability is essential to the next phase of EV charging. Vehicles, chargers, software platforms and energy systems need to work together in a way that is reliable for customers and practical for the industry. Joining CharIN as a Core Member gives NexBlue the opportunity to contribute more directly to that work.”
Chris Jenssen, Chief Commercial Officer at NexBlue

NexBlue sees open standards as an important part of making charging infrastructure easier to deploy, integrate and operate over time. This is particularly relevant as the market develops toward Plug & Charge, smart charging and future V2X use cases.

As a Core Member, NexBlue will take part in the CharIN community and support its work to advance open, reliable and interoperable charging infrastructure.
