Charging goes Megawatt – CharIN launches Megawatt Charging System in North America
For the first time in its history, CharIN brings together a dozen medium- and heavy-duty vehicles for an interoperability testing event at DTNA Electric Island in Portland, Oregon giving a strong signal for the expansion of electrification into other duty-cycles.
“This year’s North America Conference and Testival is prove that with our worldwide community of close to 300 members and all relevant stakeholders gathering, CharIN has reached the goal to establish the Combined Charging System (CCS) as a global standard for interoperable charging,” said Claas Bracklo, chairman of CharIN e.V. “We now strive for this very same goal with the Megawatt Charging System for heavy-duty means of transportation to carry forward our mission to make global zero-emission transportation through interoperable and accessible e-mobility a reality. We are happy and proud to have our CharIN North America team as a strong advocate for our global targets.”
We had a great CharIN MCS launch launch event at the CharIN Testival and 6th Conference NORTH AMERICA 2022, and we don't want to deprive you of a little insight into the launch.
