HARTING Automotive becomes a regular member of CharIN.

HARTING Automotive develops and produces customised charging equipment for electric and plug-in-hybrid vehicles as well as electromagnetic components for automotive suppliers.

HARTING Automotive is now a regular member of the Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN). The association has set itself the mission of mainstreaming charging solutions using a combined charging system (CCS) and thus enabling the fuss-free charging of electric vehicles anywhere in the world.

Within the CharIN organisation, experts from well-known automotive and charging infrastructure firms are working together to implement the CCS, an international charging standard for battery electric vehicles.

The HARTING Automotive subsidiary is focusing on e-mobility solutions. The subsidiary supplies customized solutions and components for all relevant sales areas. Among other things, the subsidiary is developing and manufacturing charging infrastructure solutions for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

The HARTING Technology Group is one of the world's leading providers of industrial connection technology for the three lifelines of Data, Signal and Power and has 14 production plants and 44 sales companies. Moreover, the company also produces retail checkout systems, electromagnetic actuators for automotive and industrial series use, charging equipment for electric vehicles, as well as hardware and software for customers and applications in automation technology, mechanical and plant engineering, robotics and transportation engineering.
