CharIN Highlights Importance of Collaboration and Standardization at EVIS 2025

At the 4th edition of the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit (EVIS) 2025 in Abu Dhabi, CharIN participated as a Knowledge Partner, contributing to key discussions on interoperability and sustainable e-mobility. Through expert panels and a policy-focused roundtable, CharIN emphasized the importance of joint action in accelerating EV adoption in the region.

From April 21 to 23, the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit (EVIS) 2025 brought together stakeholders from across the e-mobility value chain in Abu Dhabi. CharIN supported the event as a Knowledge Partner, offering insights into how industry collaboration and standardized approaches can help advance an interoperable EV ecosystem.

CharIN was represented in two high-level panel discussions. On the first day, Ahmed Samir Elbermbali, Managing Director MENA of CharIN, moderated a session on "Building a sustainable EV ecosystem", focusing on the intersection of technology, automotive innovation, and policy. On the second day, André Kaufung, Managing Director of CharIN, joined a panel addressing "Collaborative mobility", exploring how developers, municipalities, and EV providers can co-create sustainable urban ecosystems.

In addition, CharIN co-hosted an executive EV Roundtable in cooperation with ADNOC Distribution and PwC on the topic "Accelerating EV Adoption – Infrastructure Deployment, Policies, and Enabling Regulations". The closed-door session brought together C-level executives, policymakers, OEMs, CPOs, EVSE providers, and other key stakeholders to discuss current challenges in the UAE's EV market and explore actionable strategies to accelerate adoption.

CharIN underlined its role in supporting the development of an interoperable, sustainable, and user-centric e-mobility landscape.
