A leading certification laboratory in Thailand has received a 350 kW EV charging test system from comemso

comemso delivers 350 kW EV charging test system to leading certification laboratory in Thailand

Electromobility tests are conducted with a dual analyser setup for parallel EV and EVSE testing up to 320 kW. This setup includes AC/DC verification according to IEC 61851-23, protocol tests and automated control via comframe software.

Germany, 22 October 2025 – A leading certification and testing laboratory in Thailand has once again chosen Comemso for EVSE and EV testing, modernising its existing environment (in use since 2018) with the latest generation of hardware and software.
The installation includes two Comemso EV Charging Analyzers (EVCA) and enables parallel charging tests on two specimens (EV or EVSE), or combined operation with up to 320 kW – fully automated and safely switchable. The system is assigned to the 350 kW class and is intended for use with high-power applications in EV testing and EVSE testing.

Technical highlights and use cases:

  • Full AC and DC (CCS) tests, including fault simulation, as per IEC 61851-23 – very important for EVSE tests in terms of performance, safety, and strength. The system has been CharIN Conformance Approved as CharIN Conformance Test Systems (CCTS) for many years.
  • Two 160 kW Gustav Klein battery emulators for realistic EV simulation.
  • EMC Link Integration for EMC Testing of EVSE and EV is an essential step in the process.
  • Training on the intuitive, automated comframe software.

With the upgrade, the laboratory is optimally equipped for high-performance EV and charging infrastructure testing, from protocol certification to electrical safety tests and EMC conformance testing. The modular architecture and flexibility of comframe make the system future-proof and scalable, and suitable for EVSE tester requirements in laboratory, production, and EMC environments.

Since 2018, the customer has relied on e-mobility test solutions from comemso. Due to its many years of satisfaction, the customer has now expanded and modernised its setup.
