CharIN and CEBC are pleased to announce their cooperation

CharIN, the leading global electromobility association, and the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) will jointly work together to enable the right path of e-mobility rollout in the Middle East region.

Also in the Middle East, the number of electric vehicles (EVs) is increasing every year. Sustainable transport becomes more and more important, especially with regards to the sustainable development goals the region set. New initiatives for sustainable transport, which are also reflected by high investments into EV infrastructure and manufacturing, are endorsed and fostered by the local governments.

In order to accelerate the MENA region’s transition to sustainable and clean mobility and to push forward the rollout of e-mobility as quickly as possible, the two organizations CharIN and CEBC are now collaborating. This allows both organizations to pursue their visions and ideally complement each other in their network and knowledge.

“We are pleased that in CEBC we have found a local partner who can support CharIN with its network to expand the global footprint to this key region.”
Claas Bracklo, Chairman of CharIN e. V.
“A sustainable and resilient mobility system is a key pillar to the energy transition. CEBC is keen to bring in learnings and best practices on how other regions in the world have accelerated the uptake of sustainable mobility modes. Hence, we are very pleased about this partnership with CharIN to accelerate the MENA region’s transition to sustainable mobility.
Dr. Nasser Saidi, Chairman of CEBC

As a first step, a CharIN Tuesday in cooperation with CEBC is planned. A CharIN Tuesday is a digital learning session addressing the hottest topics of e-mobility. This event brings influential stakeholders from industry and politics together to exchange and collaborate on important topics.

The conference will address insights of the current developments in the Middle East region as well as the role of CharIN and the technological perspective in that region.

As defined in a common Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), further exchange formats between CharIN and CEBC including relevant stakeholders and topics from the Middle East and the CharIN ecosystem will follow.

CharIN is happy to announce that CEBC is now also an official supporter of CharIN.
