CharIN and ASE Join Forces to Strengthen the Future of E-Mobility in Chile

CharIN e.V., the global leader in promoting standards for electric vehicle charging, and the Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energética (ASE), a key Chilean institution advancing energy efficiency and sustainability, have signed a collaboration agreement to foster the development of electromobility in Chile. This new partnership highlights the shared commitment of both organizations to support Chile’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation systems.

Through this strategic collaboration, ASE and CharIN will exchange technical knowledge and best practices to enhance the impact of national programs aimed at promoting electric mobility. The cooperation also includes the promotion of advanced technologies such as Plug and Charge and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G), as well as access to relevant data for planning future charging infrastructure, particularly for high-power charging systems for electric trucks.

The Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energética (ASE) is a non-profit private foundation responsible for implementing public policies that promote energy efficiency and sustainability in Chile. With a strong focus on reducing energy consumption and poverty, ASE works across sectors—including transport, industry, public buildings, and residential areas—while advancing education, gender equity, and climate resilience as part of its mission to make sustainability a cultural value in Chile.

"This cooperation paves the way for a stronger electric mobility ecosystem in Chile by combining international expertise with local commitment to sustainable energy"

This partnership reinforces CharIN’s global mission of aligning EV charging standards and ASE’s role in driving sustainable energy initiatives across the country. Together, they aim to empower stakeholders, enhance public education, and support the deployment of reliable and future-ready EV charging systems throughout Chile.
