As things are moving rapidly in Latin America, CharIN is ideally placed within Brazilian decision-making bodies, such as the government and industry. One example is CharIN's membership in ABNT (the Brazilian standardization body); another is its partnership with ABVE (the Brazilian EV association).
Due to its unique access, the Group, under the co-leadership of Rodrigo Vicentini, CharIN Managing Director for Brazil, and Glenn Cezanne, CharIN VP for Global Government Relations, will provide the CharIN community with the newest insights into political, regulatory, and industry dynamics and developments, as well as have the relevant impact on the decision-making procedures, based on the common interests developed within CharIN.
Our first meeting will focus on providing a decision-making landscape and a holistic understanding of the political and industry discourse, as well as the initiatives currently under discussion in the Brazilian government. We will go into detail on the specific technologies and standards of interest, including CCS2, ISO15118, MCS, and certification. Please feel free to share your input and points of concern you would like addressed in the Group.
This first meeting will be conducted in English.
Please register yourself or any colleagues who would like to participate by sending a quick email to Rodrigo Vicentini at brazil@charin.global.
