ATLIS Motor Vehicles becomes a core member of CharIN

ATLIS is a vertically integrated EV technology ecosystem company. Proprietary battery technology, platforms designed to electrify anything, and pickups built without compromise are reimagining the future of work.

Atlis Motor Vehicles (ATLIS), a mobility technology company, has joined CharIN Alliance, a global association dedicated to promoting charging interoperability based on the Combined Charging System (CCS) as the global standard for charging all electric vehicles.

Built on the company’s three business units - Energy, XP Platform, and XT Pickup Truck, ATLIS is developing its own electric vehicle battery cells and packs to power 300, 400, and 500-mile range batteries for the ATLIS XP platform and XT pickup truck. It’s also developing the charging ecosystem necessary to recharge these batteries in less than 15 minutes.

Under the CharIN umbrella, cross-industry stakeholders like automakers, charging station manufacturers, component suppliers, energy providers, grid operators, and others continue moving towards interoperable charging, where vehicles, chargers, and software systems work together and to make the user experience reliable, easy and smooth.

“ATLIS is developing megawatt charging capable vehicles and it is critical we become involved in setting standards for megawatt charging systems (MCS) as well as help create network interoperability. We are in the near end stages of developing a 1500kW charging system, including power converting, charge cable and connector assembly, and plan to collaborate with CharIN to share our developments to aid in the development of MCS.”
said Mark Hanchett, CEO of ATLIS
