We introduced the first-ever CharIN V2G Testival EUROPE 2025 – Germany. The event took place in Berlin, Germany, at zeemobase on the EUREF-Campus on October 7 & 8, 2025, where participants immersed themselves in the world of e-mobility with a focus on V2G bidirectional charging functionality, testing, and interoperability.
The V2G Testival was held on a smaller scale, featuring approximately eight vehicles to enable focused, high-quality testing sessions.
As Host, inno2grid provided a dedicated setup for bidirectional EV chargers, controlled/smart charging, and interoperability testing of the ISO 15118-20 communication protocol, including mutual TLS and bidirectional charging functionality.
To satisfy the market demand CharIN helps the industry create a common solution for charging their electric heavy-duty vehicles (eg. Truck, Bus, Marine and Air vessels) within a reasonable time.
It will help meet climate and sustainability goals and offer maximized customer flexibility.
