SDG 11 Sustainable cities and communities - Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.

"The implementation of SDG 11 is intended to achieve a more sustainable design of urban development, settlement planning, and transport systems. When working on tomorrow's EV infrastructure, we are facing numerous responsibilities. It must be interoperable, but also sustainable. Ensuring a sustainable charging process is complex since a wide range of aspects must be taken into consideration.

A CharIN coalition has been formed identifying relevant criteria that characterize a sustainable charging location. Relevant aspects range from cable and connector management up to lighting and signposting.

The topics that could be further elaborated under the CharIN umbrella are bundled and further processed by this CharIN task force.

Stay tuned, more to come.
