Latin America is the place where you can learn about public transportation and fleets, we have 2 of the biggest e-bus projects in the world, also we have some important innovations in the charging depot area… So, lots of experience and some technology to export also.
If we speak about regulation, some countries are advancing fine, while others are a little behind. Focusing on private cars, Latin America is a little behind if we compare ourselves with Europe.
Transform the Latin American market in one regional market and not just a lot of countries together doing e-mobility projects. For that we need a long term, solid regulation framework, more integration between countries, interoperability between networks and more added value in our solutions.
Interoperability and standards, new charging technologies to improve the range of heavy EVs, connect the Latin American e-mobility ecosystem with the rest of the world.
Being grown up in a small town of the Chilean Patagonia has brought me close to nature and the effects of climate change, and as electronic engineer I’ve always been close to technology. That´s why I’ve always been interested in clean technologies and renewable energies. I started coming to e-mobility in year 2008, when with my team we had to build a charger for a REVAi, then we started to go deeper and helping companies with the support of charging infrastructure, after a while the first e-bus came to Chile and with this I put al in for e-mobility, being part the ecosystem that built the first massive public transportation project in the world outside of China, in year 2017 and 2018.
