CharIN at Zero Emission Ferries Australia

CharIN joins Zero-Emission Ferries Australia 2026 as Supporting Partner to discuss interoperable charging solutions, maritime electrification, and the role of MCS in enabling sustainable marine transport.

Australia’s maritime sector is entering a new phase in the transition toward zero-emission transport, with the first large-scale deployments of battery-electric ferries and supporting charging infrastructure now moving from planning into real-world operation. As cities such as Sydney and Perth accelerate their electrification strategies, interoperability, charging standards, and infrastructure readiness are becoming increasingly important for the future of sustainable maritime mobility.

As a Supporting Partner of Zero-Emission Ferries Australia 2026, CharIN will participate in the conference to engage with industry stakeholders on interoperable charging solutions, maritime electrification, and the role of Megawatt Charging System (MCS) technology in enabling sustainable marine transport.

The event will focus on key topics including battery-electric ferries, charging infrastructure deployment, port electrification, grid integration, financing models, and the commercialization of zero-emission marine technologies.

As part of the conference program, Liz Yeaman, Managing Director of CharIN Oceania, will contribute through a dedicated speaking slot, highlighting the role of interoperable charging solutions and Megawatt Charging System (MCS) technology in supporting scalable and future-ready maritime electrification.

CharIN members interested in sponsorship opportunities can use the discount code CGZEFA for all sponsorship packages listed on the event website.

In addition, a 20% early-bird discount for delegate registrations is currently available until 10 September 2026.

CharIN looks forward to contributing to the dialogue around standardization, interoperability, and the development of reliable charging ecosystems for marine applications.
