CharIN at WATTS UP APAC 2026

CharIN is pleased to participate in WATTS UP APAC 2026, taking place from 23–25 September 2026 in Singapore. The conference brings together stakeholders from across the maritime battery value chain, including ship owners, shipyards, ports, battery manufacturers, technology providers, researchers, and policymakers, to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in maritime electrification, battery technologies, charging infrastructure, and sustainable shipping.

As part of the conference program, Jacques Borremans will represent CharIN as a speaker in the session "Charging Infrastructure, Integration and Battery Recycling."

His presentation, "The Future of Secure Maritime Electrification: MCS, Encrypted Communications, Smart/Dynamic Charging, and V2G Integration," will highlight how the Megawatt Charging System (MCS), secure communication protocols, smart charging, and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technologies contribute to an interoperable and future-ready maritime charging ecosystem.
