Virtual Discussion: The Challenges of Electric Vehicle Charging

In celebration of International Women's Day, hear from WEV ANZ a discussion on the everyday challenges that come with EV charging. Our CharIN Ambassador Liz Yeaman is part of the panel and will speak about charging standards.

EV Charging - it's everywhere now. In the news, at your local market and even at stops on the freeway and more is coming. Commissioning of EV charging in various applications is complicated in a global market.

The online discussion takes place on Thu., 9 March 2023, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm AEDT and is packed with a panel of speakers from the Women of Electric Vehicle ANZ Chapter speakers guide (http://www.wevspeakersanz.org.au/). This group will discuss EV charging topics ranging from property sector installations to heavy vehicles deployments. Our CharIN Ambassador Liz Yeaman is part of the panel and will speak about charging standards.

We'll hear about recent work in V2G and how everyday people perceive the option of feeding energy stored their EV back to the grid. Finally, we'll start to understand how industry is aligning globally on a single standard that aims to improve the interoperability of electrification.

This panel is supported by a range of generous contributors form Women of EVs (https://www.womenofevs.com/).
