Due to innovations in the field of electromobility and automated and autonomous driving, the complexity of software and electrical/electronic systems in vehicles is constantly increasing. In this context it is important to consider functional safety as an essential factor right from the start of development in order to minimize potential damage to people, machines and the environment, as well as cost-intensive recall campaigns.

The training is designed to create awareness and teach you the basics of Functional Safety, supported by exercises based on a practical example.

You will understand the importance of functional safety and get to know the development process as well as the key artifacts of ISO 26262.
