Registration Information
Once a company has officially registered, its name will be published on the official event page.
- The registration deadline for participants and sponsors is typically two weeks before the event. Exact dates can be found on the official event page. Due to logistics and catering requirements, on-site registration is not available.
- The registration deadline for testing equipment (EV, EVSE) is typically four weeks ahead of the event.
Detailed descriptions of each ticket category are available in the registration section. Click the “More Info” button next to each ticket for details on what is included.
- If you have purchased the Public Day ticket, you will have access to the evening event that takes place on that day. Please consult the events agenda for details.
- If you are registered for any other ticket category (Tester, Sponsor), you are entitled to attend all events on all days.
If tickets are sold out, you can join the waitlist by completing the registration form. Spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: We aim for a balanced number of EV and EVSE participants. If one category reaches capacity first, we may temporarily pause registrations until the numbers are balanced. Afterwards, waitlisted participants will be notified if spots become available.
In that case, we have likely already issued your invoice. Please create a new registration for the additional participants.
Public Day Information

Designed for Business Developers, Marketing Professionals, Press, and Students, the Public Day features introductory presentations, guided site tours, live demonstrations, and valuable networking opportunities.

Event Logistics
Our technical partner, Keysight, creates the testing schedule and assigns partners based on the technical data provided during registration. You can indicate your preferences, but please note that we cannot guarantee they will be accommodated due to the complexity of the testing agenda.
If we have hotel recommendations or discounts for event participants, they will be listed on the event website.
Registered CharIN Testival Participants will receive an email with a link to the General Information page once it becomes available. This page will include shipping dates, contact details, and other important event information.
Testing and Technical Information
The Technical Briefing Call covers the testing procedure with our technical partner, Keysight, and provides an opportunity for questions. All participants are required to attend. If you cannot attend, a recording will be available on the General Information page.
ISO15118-20 testing may be available, depending on participant technical registrations. It has been included in past CharIN Testivals, and most testing system providers are capable of conducting ISO15118-20 tests.
Three documents are needed to participate:
Safety Instructions – to be read and signed
User Agreement – to be read and signed
Technical Registration – to be completed online to facilitate round-robin pairing
Please email the signed documents to: testival@charin-academy.global. These are essential for our technical team to prepare the pairing schedule.
(If your company has registered more than one piece of equipment, please submit a separate form for each.)
Finance Information
Like many organizations, we incur fees for processing credit card payments. To streamline payment processing and reduce administrative effort, we have decided to accept only credit card payments during the final two weeks leading up to the event. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to waive or refund the 3% fee, as it covers the transaction costs that we ourselves are charged.
Since CharIN e.V. and CharIN Academy GmbH are two different entities, it is necessary to have a separate PO number for each of these companies.
Sponsorships
You can find all costs and information about the sponsor packages in each Sponsorship Brochure.
As a sponsor, you cannot participate in the testing activities. Sponsors may only attend in observing capacity.
No, you are responsible for organizing and producing the lanyards, which should include both the CharIN and your company logos. Please note that we need to approve the design before you place the order.
Regarding shipping, you can either send them to the address listed on the General Information Page or bring them with you on Setup Day.
