The HDV electrification building blocks: From standards to best practices and regulation

The European Commission Sustainable Transport Forum subgroup on recharging and refueling infrastructure for zero-emission HDVs commenced its work last year to identify how the EU can further support the electrification of the HDV sector. Next year, the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation review will have HDV infrastructure as a focal point. The CharIN Tuesday will focus on key elements addressed in the subgroup, including CCS and MCS, use cases and user requirements, market development, and bottlenecks.
