The CharIN Testival NORTH AMERICA 2023 is a hands-on, three-day event organized by CharIN, the non-profit association promoting the interoperability of global charging solutions for all types of electric vehicles (EVs). 

The 2023 North America Testival is hosted by Cleveland-based welding company Lincoln Electric, providing their facilities and support to conduct the event. 

At the CharIN Testival, stakeholders from across the e-mobility value chain come together to test the interoperability of a variety of electric vehicles, charging stations, and communication controllers. The event will focus on improving EV charging standards to help scale EV charging infrastructure and improve the customer experience. 

DATE & TIME

Though the event spans 3 days, CharIN is making interviews available for the media on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 11 am to 5 pm EST. 

If this time window does not suit, please contact us to make additional arrangements.  

The media is also welcome to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the Lincoln Electric EV charger manufacturing facility earlier on the same day, from 10 am to 11 am.

ATTENDEES

At the 2023 Testival, representatives from prominent automotive companies, equipment suppliers, and testing system facilities will be in attendance. Notable companies testing products include Tesla, BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Lucid, Rivian, ABB, ChargePoint, EVgo, and more.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES  

Members of the media will have the opportunity to take photos and capture video only on certain spots of electric vehicles, electric vehicle charging stations, and engineering teams with state-of-the-art testing equipment. Please note that the Testival itself has a no-photography rule.

Permission from testing teams will be collected prior to photo/video capture.
