We are thrilled to announce our latest startup contest! This is an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs and innovators who are passionate about electromobility and want to show their contribution to empower the next level of green mobility and energy.
As the world increasingly turns towards renewable energy and environmentally friendly mobility, the electromobility industry gears up for explosive growth. This is where you come in - we want to hear from startups with fresh, groundbreaking ideas that can revolutionize the way we move and commute tomorrow.
The best startups will receive the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a jury in the frame of GreenTech festival Berlin, benefiting from the CharIN outrach, providing access to a vast network of industry experts, potential investors, and valuable resources. This is your chance to showcase your ideas and make your mark in an industry that is set to shape the future of transportation.
Additionally, the winning startup will receive a core membership for CharIN for one year!
We encourage all startups with innovative ideas related to EV charging infrastructure to apply and participate in this contest. We cannot wait to see what amazing ideas and solutions you will bring to the table.
The application deadline is June 1, 2023.
Reasons to apply:

Application criteria:
- New formation (no spin-offs) with an innovative and scalable business model related to e-mobility.
- Not older than 5 years (entry in the commercial register).
- A maximum of 150 employees.
- Generate no more than EUR 50 million turnover.
Application process:
To apply, please submit the following:
1) Application video adressing the three core questions:
- Why is your business model relevant to the roll-out of a seamless EV charging infrastructure around the globe?
- What is your contribution to empower the next level of green mobility and energy?
- What are unique aspects of your solution and how does it stand out from the competition?
Please submit a short application video with a maximum length of 2 minutes.
This is not a video making contest and no fancy editing is necessary or desirable. We want to get to the bottom of things.
If your video file exceeds the size limit for e-mails, feel free to include a download link in your e-mail.

What happens next:
After a preselection process, the top three startups will be invited to pitch their business ideas to a jury at the Greentech Festival in Berlin. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your startup to a global community of electromobility enthusiasts and professionals.
During the pitch, you will have the chance to present your startup's solution, its potential impact on the environment, and how it aligns with the theme of green mobility and energy. The jury will evaluate your presentation and select the winner based on the quality of the idea and its potential to create a significant impact in the industry.
The winning startup will receive a core membership for CharIN for one year. The membership will provide the winner with access to CharIN's network of industry experts and stakeholders, helping to accelerate the growth of their business and further their impact in the green mobility and energy sector.
