Asia’s rapid development over the past two decades puts the region at the forefront of unlocking its enormous potential in becoming a leader for net zero transition and implementation. Over the last years, significant efforts have been put in by stakeholders towards the sustainability and decarbonisation agenda.
While ASEAN remains a major engine of global economic growth, nearly $3 Trillion cumulative investment is needed till 2040 for ASEAN to realize a sustainable pathway. Among some of the decarbonization efforts involve transitioning towards renewable energy strategies including Solar and Storage, Energy Efficiency, Green Hydrogen, Energy Efficiency, Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage.
