CharIN at AAM 2026

CharIN will participate in the SECOND ADVANCED AIR MOBILITY SYMPOSIUM (AAM 2026), hosted by the International Civil Aviation Organization. As the advanced air mobility (AAM) sector continues to evolve, CharIN will contribute its expertise on interoperable charging and infrastructure, with Jacques Borremans, Managing Director Asia at CharIN, joining as a featured speaker.

Held under the theme “From Vision to Implementation: Enabling the AAM Ecosystem,” AAM 2026 brings together global leaders to address the transition from early-stage deployments to scalable, safe, and interoperable systems. The symposium will explore lessons learned from unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) operations, while assessing progress since the 2024 Call to Action.

Through expert panels and strategic dialogue, participants will examine key challenges such as automation and autonomy, workforce development, and the infrastructure required to support seamless AAM integration worldwide. CharIN’s presence reinforces the importance of harmonized standards and cross-sector collaboration, ensuring that charging and energy systems evolve in parallel with aviation innovation. Jacques Borremans will share insights on how interoperability and open standards can support the scalable deployment of electric aviation technologies within a globally aligned AAM ecosystem.
