CharIN at Airport Electrification Europe Conference

Airports across Europe are advancing the electrification of their infrastructure and operations in line with the European Green Deal and the Fit for 55 package to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. This transition requires significant investment, integrated planning, and close collaboration between operators, authorities, industry, and investors to build a fully electrified and sustainable airport ecosystem.

In light of these developments, Global Transmission Report is excited to announce the launch edition of the Airport Electrification Europe conference, to be held on October 28, 2025, at Novotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam. This one-day conference will explore the practical, policy, and technological pathways for the electrification of airport infrastructure and operations to build a greener, more resilient, and efficient aviation sector.

The event will bring together policymakers, airport authorities and operators, the EU and national government agencies, technology providers, electric power utilities, solution providers, and industry experts to present their perspectives and discuss solutions and best practices for accelerating electrification at airports.
