PT PLN (Persero) until the end of 2020 controls, owns, and operates approximately 70% generation capacity in Indonesia. PLN also the sole buyer of electricity produced by IPP including electricity from renewable energy. PLN controls over 63,336 MW of generation capacity and operates 100% of transmission networks in Indonesia, which extends to a total length of 61,334 kilo-meter circuit (kmc), and a total substation capacity of 150,038 Mega Volt Ampere (MVA) with serve 79 million of our customers throughout the archipelago. PT PLN (Persero) has succeeded in becoming one of the companies with the largest assets in Indonesia of IDR 1,589 Trillion.
