About Pairpoint

When applied to EV charging (ChargePoint infrastructure), Pairpoint facilitates ISO 15118-based communication, particularly for Plug & Charge functionality, by leveraging the mobile network SIM as a trusted, secure element for both the chargepoint and the vehicle. Pairpoint also increases security for payment transactions, which may eventually help reduce transaction costs for connected partners (such as chargepoints and OEMs).
