CATARC New Energy Vehicle Inspection Center (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "New Energy Inspection Center") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATARC and the operating entity of CATARC's New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Base. The company focuses on the smart electric vehicle industry chain and the hydrogen energy vehicle industry chain, leveraging its comprehensive advantages in "standards and regulations, testing and evaluation, technological innovation, and industry platforms" to provide comprehensive technical services such as new energy vehicle product testing and certification, research and development verification, and product engineering evaluation for the entire industry.
The New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Base is the largest investment scale, highest construction standards, and strongest technical capabilities base project of China Automotive Center in recent years. The base has an investment of about 1.99 billion yuan, covers an area of about 308 acres, has a total construction area of about 146000 square meters, and has built more than 20 comprehensive laboratories; Covering the entire R&D process chain, product chain, lifecycle, and application areas of new energy vehicles, including power batteries, electric drive and electronic control, charging technology, electromagnetic compatibility, fuel cells, and new energy vehicles.
